Rovers pay price

MISSED chances cost Barton Rovers victory as they fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 at home with Rugby Town on Saturday, writes Mark Wood.

Russell Bull’s equaliser earned the Blues a share of the spoils in this Southern League Division One Central encounter, but they could have picked up all three.

Manager Dan Kennoy said: “I thought we had a large majority of the game in our control and should have gone into the half time break in front instead of a goal down.”
