Wilkinson happy with winning return to Luton
The popular centre half was one of the first casualties of new Luton boss Nathan Jones’ reign as he was allowed to leave for Stevenage during the January transfer window, allowing Town to bring in Alan Sheehan on loan.
The 25-year-old got an excellent reception from home fans on his first trip back to the club at the weekend, as new club Stevenage, who also had former Hatters Ronnie Henry, Fraser Franks and Aaron O’Connor in their squad, left victorious with a 1-0 triumph.

“You’ve got to come back and do a job for the team you are playing for. We have done that.
“He had centre-halves that he knew and he didn’t know me. He said it was better for me to go and play somewhere else. I’m just glad to be playing football.”
