Girl power as Freya wins Dunstable Downs golf tournament
The only girl competing in this year’s Dunstable Downs GC Junior Captains Day showed the boys how it was done as 12-year-old Freya Daniels triumphed with 35 stableford points in testing conditions.
She pipped captain John Wright to the prize who won the Division Two category by three points, Sam Harris won Division Three with 32 points, as he also claimed a nearest the pin prize, while the in-form Ryan Craig won the Division One award with 30 points.
