GOLF: Sutton hopes for Egypt final place

Sutton, who is only in his first year as a professional, recently finished tied 17th at Moor Allerton, Leeds and tied 26th at Slaley Hall, Northumberland.

He currently lies in 58th position on the Order of Merit with three more events left.

If Sutton does make the top 60, not only will it guarantee him a seat on the plane to Egypt but also a full exemption card to play the on the Europro Tour next year.

Sutton said: “I’m really excited about the possible prospect of qualifying for the end of year grand final in Egypt.”

Sutton next competes at Princes GC, Sandwich this week and then at The Oxford Resort later in the month.
