Major ambitions for Rollinson

LUTON golfer Ben Rollinson has huge aspirations as he embarks for the Qualifying School on the European Tour in September and potentially the chance to play against some of the world’s finest golfers, writes Luke Prietzel.

Rollinson, who has a degree in Law from King’s College in London, has been playing golf since the age of seven and finally believes his time has come.

His dream is to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Nick Faldo, Tiger Woods and this year’s Open winner Darren Clarke.

He said: “Winning a major is a childhood ambition and one I hope to achieve – preferably the Open if I can only win one.”
