Turner crowned Bedfordshire Schools Scratch champion
Jack is the best in class
Caddington Golf Club’s Jack Turner won the Bedfordshire Schools Scratch Championship at The Bedford Golf Club on Thursday.
He claimed the Johnson Salver with a gross score of 71 playing off a handicap of two and was a member of Dunstable’s Manshead Upper School team which won the team prize, the Cyril Rose Shield.
As a result of this win Turner, 15, has been selected to play for the South East Schools team.
