HOCKEY: Brillant Broadway bags four

With Chiltern picking a mixed side containing players from all three teams, it was Enigma who dominated as they netted twice in the opening 35 minutes.

The second period saw Chiltern come back with renewed energy thanks to some excellent hits from Angela Simms and Nicki Tiley, plus a couple of cracking runs from Jackie Dadd.

On Enigma’s hit-outs, fantastic positioning from Hilary Ward ensured she was always in the right place at the right time, while Karen Murphy produced some timely jabs and steals.

With Chiltern in control, Broadway netted four times and Bethany Carlisle bagged a goal too after some excellent set-up play between Murphy and player of the match Dadd.
