HOCKEY: Chiltern hammer Walden

Braces from Emma Cook and player of the match Donna Brown, plus strikes from Naomi Chalkley and Alexis Broadway saw Chiltern Ladies hammer Saffron Walden IVs 6-0 in Five Counties Women’s League Division Two at the weekend.

The visitors started well with Broadway tucking home the opener, while Chiltern continued to attack as Brown claimed the second and third with clinical finishes.

Walden tried to hit back, but the visitors remained tough to break down, with goalkeeper Katie Williams enjoying a quiet afternoon and Kate Isger producing a fine display to keep her winger quiet.
