Injuries cost Motors dear

WITH a team depleted by injuries Vauxhall Motors were unable to secure a second victory of the season as they lost 36-5 at Stoneygate in Midlands Four East South at the weekend.

Motors travelled to Leicester with a team missing eight members of their first choice squad for what was always going to be a tough challenge.

However, inspired by man of the match Alex Lee and the returning Pete Cider, Vauxhall put in a strong first half performance, but unfortunately trailed 12-0 at the break.
