LADIES FOOTBALL: Hatters defeat Flitwick
Luton Town won 3-0 at Flitwick Ladies in their Bedfordshire County Cup quarter-final clash on Sunday.
Rachel Kosky hit the post early on, before she made it 1-0, firing home from the edge of the area.
She was denied a second, but it was 2-0 at the break as Lauren Goodier chipped the keeper from 25 yards after great work by Amy Nash.
In the second period, Erica Byron hit the bar, but she soon assured victory, tucking away Goodier’s excellent cross for her first goal in senior football.
Luton travel to AFC Dunstable Ladies in the semi-finals on Sunday, February 16.
Hatters host Denham in the South East Women’s Combination League this weekend.

The Christmas hangover continued for AFC Dunstable as they were held to a 0-0 draw by bottom side Hutton Ladies in their Eastern Region Women’s League One South clash on Sunday.
Hutton defended doggedly as their keeper made two fine saves early on, while Holly Skinner, Dionne Manning and Tracy Blake all went close.
Free kick specialist Dan Carty hit the bar from outside the box and moments later curled a corner against the post.
Chelsea Forde also had an effort cleared off the line, while the visitors had one sight of goal, but saw an effort trickle just past the post.
