They finished third in the sport’s most prestigious club competition last year, in an event that has some of the world’s top players taking part.

Luton themselves can boast world number 10 Daryl Selby, number 29 Adrian Waller and up-and-coming star Adam Auckland, ranked 123 in their squad, with the winners earning a quarter-final place.

Captain Steve Davies said: “We are always pleased to get a home tie in this competition as the side is so well supported.

“The club has come an incredibly long way in a short space of time and it is great for our members to be able to see the world’s top players turning out.

“We really feel like we have a great chance this year to go and win it and hopefully will see them off which will almost certainly mean a tough tie against Dulwich in the next round.”

Spectators are welcome to watch for free, with the tie starting at 1.45pm.
