Leighton buzzing as Dunstablians defeated

Dunstablians 0 Leighton Buzzard 53

A CRUSHING derby defeat saw 14-man Dunstablians well beaten 53-0 at home by Leighton Buzzard in Midlands One East on Saturday.

It means Dees, who were forced into a number of changes just before kick-off due to injuries to key players Reece Bowles, Sean Mangan, Declan Hall, Jake Hobbs and Duncan Holmes, are still looking for their first victory.

Captain Stuart Hall said: “Unfortunately over-eagerness and poor discipline meant we played a lot of the game with less men on the pitch.

“We need to bounce back and pull together as a squad to record our first victory.”
