Ruislip 17 Luton 31

Luton Rugby enjoyed their first London One North win of the season with a 31-17 triumph at Ruislip on Saturday.

Steven Ellis, Tesh Edwards and Stephen Cobb went over in the first half with Aidan Kenny adding two conversions as Luton led 19-0.

Ruislip mounted a comeback, scoring two tries and kicking one conversion, but Luton delivered a killer blow on 62 minutes as Edwards went over for his second try of the afternoon.

With five minutes to go, Michael Weston added his side’s fifth score of the match, with Kenny kicking the two points, meaning a last-gasp home score mattered little.
