Luton thump Burton

Luton romped to a 47-10 win over Burton in National League Three Midlands.

Dan Blinkhorn (2), Mike Weston, Shaun Mahoney, Jimmy Speirs, Tom Mahendran and Matt Yang all touched down for Luton and Joe Murphy added 12 points. Luton visit Kenilworth this weekend.

Ilkeston condemned Dunstablians to a 35-13 home defeat in Midlands One East.

Scott Oliver and Michael Leversidge scored Dees’ tries with Kieron Leech adding a penalty, while replacement Declan Hall was sent off. This Saturday Dees travel to near neighbours Leighton Buzzard.

Stockwood Park snatched a last-gasp 30-26 Midlands Two East South win over Lutterworth.

A brace of tries from Martin Rowe and scores from Phil Doherty, Jason Carr and James Hankey, who added five points with the boot, earned Park victory. This weekend Park travel to Market Harborough.

A try from man of the match Rob Hartley was not enough to prevent Vauxhall Motors from losing 18-5 at home to St Ives.

St Neots host Motors in Midlands Four East South on Saturday.
