Luton boxer Jordan Reynolds enjoyed a superb Haringey Box Cup tournament at the weekend.
The 20-year-old not only won three bouts to lift the middleweight title at Alexandra Palace, he was also named as Best Senior Elite boxer.
Speaking to the News/Gazette, Reynolds said: “It’s the second time I’ve been in the tournament, but now I’ve won it at middleweight, I’m a two weight champion.
“It’s a big thing at my age as I was up against men who are naturally middleweights.
“To be the Best Senior Elite boxer out of hundreds of boxers, to win that at middleweight as well, I was well chuffed.”
Reynolds saw off three opponents to have his arm raised, beating Linus Udofia, Amin Srour and Jordan Thompson in the space of three days.
