Luton boxer Ali Malik recorded a third win from three pro bouts by beating the durable Paul Ducie of Blackwood at the Dunstable Conference last Saturday.

As part of the High Rize bill, Malik bossed the contest throughout against the 31-year-old who had lost all 16 of his previous fights, but only twice by knock-out.

Despite landing some huge shots to the head and body of Ducie, Malik was unable to close the show, in what was a great learning fight for the Lutonian who continues to shine as he steps up his opponents on each outing.

Also on the bill, Bedford light heavyweight Daniel Lorenzo took on Cambridge’s Gianni Antoh (1-14-0) and almost had him out in the first round but for the patience of the referee.

He continued to punish his opponent in each round, looking very strong and composed throughout the contest.

Lorenzo felled his opponent for a second time in the final round and this time Antoh was unable to beat the count, marking an impressive debut for High Rize’s newest star.

Finally, Youssef Khoumari delivered a blistering second round KO against Spain’s Michael Isaac Carrero, while John Harding Jr dispatched Kristaps Zulgis.
