Putteridge’s mammoth medal haul

Putteridge SC bagged a huge haul of medals at the Flitwick Dolphins Open Meet held at Biggleswade’s Saxon Pool.

A total of 21 swimmers swam in 86 races over 15 events with 66 personal best times being recorded.

JJ Wilde knocked over 30secs off his 200m freestyle best, Harry Jackson 22secs off his 200m breaststroke best and James Mabbs 21secs off his PB in the 400m Individual Medley.

Putteridge swimmers achieved 14 gold medals, 12 silvers and 11 bronzes.

Sophie Mabbs and Lauren Simpkins came away with four golds each, Alfie Warnock and Raffaele Graci won two and Joe Murray and Wilde one each.
