Dunstablians racked up an impressive 51-17 win over Northampton BBOB in Mindlands Three East South at the weekend.
Harry Smith broke the deadlock to put Dees in front, with Kevin Boland successful from the tee.
Toby Mead was quick to go over shortly afterwards, with Boland adding the two points as his side led 14-0.
BBOB pulled a try back to trail 14-5, but Dunstablians were soon in the ascendancy once more as Zach Bourne crossed and then Boland’s penalty ensured his side led 22-5 at the break.
In the second period, Stuart Hall went over, while BBOB tried to remain in contention with a try of their own to reduce the deficit to 27-10.
But Dees kept attacking as Mattie Anderson and Aaron White both crossed, with Boland adding one conversion, while they were followed by Ray Carry as Dees led 44-10.
BBOB managed a converted score of their own, but Anderson was soon over the line with Boland converting for a 51-17 win.
Dees visit Bedford Swifts in the cup this weekend.
