Luton Rugby boss Allen hails Weston’s performance
Luton Rugby director of rugby Paul Allen was buoyed by his side’s performance as Luton secured their second consecutive East Midlands Cup final place Cup with a 24-14 victory over Bedford Athletic at Putnoe Woods on Saturday.
He said: “To reach the final of the East Midlands Cup has been a club goal since the season began and to beat a team playing a league above us was very pleasing.”
Michael Weston played a key role on the day, scoring two tries and having a hand in another.
Allen said: “Mention must go to Michael Weston who is dominating opposition at the moment.”
