Park led 7-0 at half time after Tom Readfern’s try which was converted by Stephen Pollock.

The second half was dominated by Vipers as they touched down five tries and kicked three conversions and a penalty.

Vipers as a result continued their promotion push and stayed second in the league.

Team manager Warren Edwards said: “Stockwood’s first half performances reflected the clear potential that this young team showed in their recent win against Stewart & Lloyds two weeks previously.

“Unfortunately, despite showing great ambition, their second half performance did not meet the team’s high expectations of themselves.”

This weekend Stockwood host Bedford Queens in the semi-finals of the Bedfordshire Cup.
