Stellar show from Galaxy gymnasts

The club’s fab four showed what stars they are by bringing home not only a large haul of medals but also three overall trophies.

In the eight to nine years section – which featured the largest number of competitors – Galaxy’s youngest member Natasha Bentley performed superbly to win two gold medals as well as the trophy for second place overall.

She started off with a gold medal for her superb vault followed by another gold medal for her precise A-bar routine.

The beam saw her fall off twice which cost her two marks and put her in ninth position.

A determined performance on the floor, featuring all her new moves, saw her finish a creditable sixth against tough opposition.
