SWIMMING: Constantine claims clean sweep

Outstanding Dunstable SC swimmer Harry Constantine made it a clean sweep of all the boys 12 years age group records at the club in 2013.

Constantine’s new record of 19.10.89mins in the 1,500m freestyle at the Long Distance Splash event completed the feat, believed to be the first time it has happened in the club’s history.

In the freestyle he holds the 50m record at 27.89secs, the 100m at 1.01.69mins, 200m at 2.18.41mins and 400m at 5.22.84mins.

His domination continues across all the strokes with breaststroke benchmarks of 40.77secs, 1.27.93mins and 3.09.27mins in the 50m, 100m and 200m, backstroke times of 32.86secs, 1.08.70mins and 2.34.19mins, and butterfly records of 34.31secs, 1.16.44mins and 3.02.96mins.

The Individual Medley bests also belong to Constantine, having timed 1.16.08mins in the 4x25m, 2.39.20mins in the 4x50m and 5.42.57mins in the 4x100m.
