SWIMMING: Dunstable SC enjoy fantastic County Champs

Dunstable SC produced some marvellous performances to enjoy their best Bedfordshire County Championships return since 2008.

The event was held at the Inspire pool in Luton over March 7/8 and 21/22.

Dunstable achieved a fabulous medal haul of 13 golds, eight silvers and seven bronze.

Finn Meenan made it to second place in the Top Swims for Fina points in the 10-year-old category, while Thomas Williams gained his county colours at this event.

Seven DSC swimmers gained regional times too, as Sam Parry, Sam Mead, Harry Constantine, Thomas Williams, Alex Neeson, Emma Yule and Ellie King all managed the feat.

Head coach Tim Hutton said: “DSC had our most successful counties since 2008 which is a massive achievement for us as a club.

“We had great representation from not only our senior swimmers but our junior champions of the future.
