SWIMMING: Dunstable trio in stunning form
With age categories based on the swimmers’ age s on December 31, Emma Yule went in the O17 age group, Alex Neeson swum in the 16-year-old category and Eleanor King the 15-year-old events.
On day one, King and Yule both swam in the 50m freestyle, with King managing 28.89secs and reaching the final where she was eighth, while Yule clocked 28.57secs, finishing 15th.

Hide AdKing also went in the 200m backstroke, swimming 2.30.36mins and made the final where she was sixth in a new PB.
On the second day, King was back in action, competing in the 50m backstroke and finishing sixth in the final with a PB of 32.23secs.
Alex Neeson then swam the 200m butterfly and reached fifth in the final with a PB of 2.26.93mins.
King also went in the 100m freestyle, achieving a PB of 1.02.12mins to reach the final where she was eighth.

Hide AdOn the third and final day, King was looking to reach all seven finals in her events.
The initial signs were good, with a first place in the heats and then reaching the final of the 100m backstroke, where she was fifth in a PB of 1.09.76mins.
However, with three events in quick succession, a conservative swim in the 200m freestyle of 2.22.74mins saw her finish 11th, before she completed the 50m butterfly in a time of 31.93secs for 15th.
