SWIMMING: Putteridge trio to hit the pool
Putteridge SC swimmers Lawrence Palmer and Jordan Batson are putting the last touches to their preparation ahead of the British International Open later this month.
The pair head to the event that starts on June 24 at the Manchester Aquatic Centre, where qualifying standard is one step lower than British Championships Commonwealth trials.
This weekend, they are getting long course race practice in as they are entered into the Senior Age Group and Masters Long Course National Championships in Swansea International Pool.
They will also be supporting fellow squad member, Lewis King 23 who has made this his top event this year.
