Triple joy for ace Shanice

Luton tennis starlet Shanice Marshall-Sefia won the consolation draw singles title at the 12U AEGON British Junior National Championships after defeating Ife Obikoya 7-5, 6-0 in the final at the West Hants Club in Bournemouth.

The tournament is the most prestigious domestic junior competition and the pinnacle of the summer calendar for many of Britain’s best young talents.

Marshall-Sefia also won the West Worthing Tennis and Squash Club Sussex Open 2012 U12 girls singles event this month as well.

It’s been a busy few weeks for the youngster as she enjoyed another victory this week, winning the Felixstowe Junior Open U12 singles event.
