Woodgate triumphs at 10km

The final race in the Luton Athletic Club Summer road race series, the Luton 10km, took place on a humid morning at Luton Hoo last Sunday.

The new one-lap course going through the grounds of Luton Hoo and returning on the Harpenden to Luton cycleway proved tough but popular with 166 finishers.

Daniel Woodgate (Luton AC) took his second victory in the series finishing in 33.17mins, well clear of Will Green (Serpentine Running Club) in 35.07mins and Matthew Salt (Dacorum and Tring) in 35.25mins.
