Mix of music comes to the Wheatsheaf

On Friday night the high energy new wave and punk rock band The Dogmattics return to The Wheatie.

Ever popular, with recent gigs being real stormers with sets including numbers from Sweet, Stiff Little Fingers, Green Day, Motorhead, Sex Pistols and the Ramones,

Plenty to dance or pogo along to in a lively fun evening taking you back to those fine sounds of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

The band are Steve Smith on vocals and guitar ably supported by Ian Kimmance, Richard Durrant and Harry.

On Saturday the locally based trio known as the Curvy Love Dogz return to The Wheatie with their mix of rock, blues and soul covers and possibly one or two original numbers.

Now in their 11th year, the band have played at many gigs in the South Midlands and have headlined at the Linford Waterside Festival and Wolverton’s It’s in the Square.

They have also appeared at events as diverse at Folk on the Green, Togfest, Buckingham’s Big Bash and the official opening of the MK Dons supporters club.

Music covers a wide spectrum and includes favourites from T.Rex, The Police, Clapton, the Stones, REM, Snow Patrol, Coldplay and Radiohead.

The music for both gigs starts at around 9.30pm and entry for both nights is free.
