Shimmy along to leisure centre for Macmillan dance fundraiser

AN Egyptian bellydancing teacher will hold a sponsored shimmyathon to raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support on Saturday.

Luton lass Sharlene Pratt, 39, will host the fundraiser in the big dance studio at Dunstable Leisure Centre from 11am until noon.

The 39-year-old decided to collect for the charity which is close to her heart after losing both her aunt and cousin to cancer. Anybody can take part if they have a shimmy belt, can move well, follow dance instructions and have a sense of rhythm.
