How Imogen, 7, helped charity
Imogen Hoo of Bullpond Lane in Dunstable was inspired to grow her crowning glory after hearing about the Trust from a friend.
She had it shorn at Caddington’s Cutting Crew salon and loves her new style even though it felt odd initially.

She told the Dunstable Gazette last month why she was doing it: “Poorly children who have no hair might feel embarrassed or sad because people might stare at them. So if I donate my hair those children can have a wig and they might feel happier again.”
Trust founder Wendy Tarplee-Morris said: ”The wigs made from these kind donations are absolutely beautiful and make a huge difference to the boys and girls we help. It is particularly touching when a young perspon chooses to make such a brave decision, giving their hair to another child.
“Well done, Imogen!”
