Bedfordshire Police's Emerald team has remanded a man into custody this week after a woman and her young child were seriously assaulted.

Imran Sultan, 35, of Dorset Court, Luton, was arrested on Monday (12 June).

Sultan was charged with four counts of assault by beating. He was remanded at court yesterday pending a trial in August.
