The Blues, who included the likes of former Luton Town youngsters Ben Barnes and Jemal McKenzie-Lowe, plus ex-Aldershot defender Ben Herd, made all the early running.
They hit the post twice, fired into the side netting and missed a free header, but took the lead on the hour mark when McKenzie–Lowe netted.

Hide AdTotternhoe were then awarded a penalty late on, but it was put wide by Dan Willa.
Dunstable conceded another spot kick before the close though and although Ryan Quinn saw his shot saved, he reacted quickly to net the rebound.
The Blues travel to Daventry on Tuesday night.
