Calor Southern League Division One Central: Daventry Town 3 Barton Rovers 1

A Luke Keen hat-trick proved too much for battling Barton Rovers as they went down 3-1 at Calor Southern League Division One Central play-off rivals Daventry Town last night.

The result saw Daventry leapfrog Barton into fourth spot who are now holding on to the last play-off position.

Keen’s second minutes opener was cancelled out by Joe Reynolds’ 16th-minute goal, but further strikes on 42 minutes and the hour earned Daventry victory.

This Saturday Rovers head to St Ives Town.

Attendance: 89.
