The senior (combined U17/19) LDSC side made their debut in the Herts Junior League and what a debut it was, chalking up two wins against older opponents Radlett B, 3-0, and Harpenden B, 2-1.

Luqman Azam and Sean Davies were making their debut at any level of team squash at strings two and three respectively, while Amy Rigby, despite only being 15, appeared a hardened veteran having turned out several times for the senior second side.

Radlett B were their first opposition of the day with only Sean Davies dropping one leg in their matches winning 3-0, 3-0 and 3-1.

Davies lost the first game in a tie break, serving a foul at a crucial moment, which upset his rhythm, but recovered impressively to triumph.

The next opponents were Harpenden B where Rigby came up against a very talented opponent and whilst she threw everything at him, lost 3-0.

Azam then won 3-0, while Davies did not get a chance to play his second game as Harpenden only had two players in their team due to an absentee so LDSC gained a walkover point.
