Halloween: Spooky fun events for all the family in Luton this half term

From ghostly tales to pumpkin decorating

Halloween is just around the corner, and Luton has some fiendishly good fun in store for you.

Families can attend a ghoulishly good day out at Wrest Park over the half term. From Saturday (October 22), to Sunday (October 30). Follow Dennis, Gnasher and friends to solve creepy clues on the fun family quest around the gardens.

Children can also expect to hear tales of three ghostly sightings, listen to the stories and solve the puzzles from around Wrest Park's estate.

Gravity Luton is offering an assortment of devilish delights from October 23 to October 27.

For the duration of haunted half-term, the second hour of open bounce sessions is on offer for only £4.95.

On Saturday (October 29) from 5pm – 7pm, Gravity Luton is hosting a spook-tacular Halloween party. Dress in your scariest costumes and get the chance to win some awesome prizes including slushies, ice cream and free bounce.

Parents and toddlers can join in on the lineup of events with themed parent and toddler bounce sessions featuring torch lit ghost stories, on Friday (October 28) and Saturday (October 29).

From October 24 to 30, visitors are encouraged to come along to the pop-up photo opportunity in Central Square with an amazing autumnal backdrop.

Pumpkin Pat and Pumpkin Pete are on hand for some friendly Halloween photos on Saturday (October 29) and Sunday (October 30).

Families can pick a pumpkin to decorate and take home, with craft workshops running between 11am – 4pm.

From October 24 to 31, Metro Bank will be inviting children and their families to take part in spooky craft activities.

Kids have the opportunity to just drop into the store or pick up a take away craft bag, and can meet and have a selfie with Metro Man, the Bank’s fun-loving mascot, in his Halloween costume.
