Luton claimed their fifth away win of the season with a 1-0 success at Birmingham City on Saturday, to move nine points clear of the relegation zone. Dan Potts' first half proved to be enough for the Hatters to return with all three points as he headed home on the half hour. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
9. Jordan Clark: 8.5
Just oozes class when he gets the ball at this feet, nipping around his opponents as if they’re not there, an asset which saw Town go close just seconds before taking the lead. Finishing was the only thing off, one tame effort easily saved, and then another great chance only to get things wrong from about 12 yards. Did go on to test Ruddy after the break though, but yet another excellent display. Photo: Cameron Smith
10. Elijah Adebayo: 7.5
A willing runner all afternoon for the Hatters as his work-rate was top notch. Went close in the first half, just failing to keep his header down from Doughty’s cross, another attempt falling tamely wide. Carried on his efforts in the second half, charging down Ruddy's clearance, although might have picked out Woodrow in one break late on rather than going alone. Photo: Cameron Smith
11. Carlton Morris: 8.5
A top display from the forward who was a major threat to the Blues' back-line. Peeled off his marker to connect with Doughty’s cross for the only goal of the game. Might have had a second only to glance narrowly wide and then on the receiving end of that horror challenge from Roberts. Had to go off after injuring his shoulder in the fall, but it could have been a lot worse. Photo: Cameron Smith
12. Allan Campbell (SUB): 7.5
Replaced the injured Burke which led to a reshuffle with Mpanzu dropping into defence, as his enthusiasm in midfield was just what Luton needed to pep up their efforts and allow the visitors to retain control of proceedings. Might have made it 2-0 but Morris’s cross was just out of reach. Photo: Cameron Smith
