Luton suffered their second successive away defeat on Saturday, going down to a 2-0 defeat at Swansea City. Connor Roberts put the hosts in front after just two minutes, with Town having defender Matty Pearson sent off after the break, before Andre Ayew sealed the win late on. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
1. James Shea: 6.5
Deflection took Roberts’ early shot out of his reach but wasn’t overly troubled from then on, until Ayew’s late blast picked out the bottom corner. Communication was decisive and swift distribution kept Luton moving.
2. James Bree: 6.5
Took a little while to get to the pace of the game on his first league start of the season but did so in a more advanced role as the contest wore on. Set-pieces were a threat late in the contest as Town pressed for an equaliser.
3. Dan Potts: 7.5
Back in from the start and did impressively to last the full 90 given his lack of training and game time this season. Looked more comfortable the longer he played, and his aerial ability was noticed when Town were defending set-plays.
4. Matty Pearson: 6.5
Had been having a good contest with Ayew as once Luton changed shape they gained control. Rash sliding challenge then left him walking the tightrope before seeing red when his overhead kick connected with Guehi.
