Steve White bagged his 18th of the season, with a David Moss penalty enough for the hosts to claim the three points needed to be crowned champions in front of 16,657 supporters at Kenilworth Road. Striker netted the second of the contest as he finished the season with an impressive 18 goals, forming a fine partnership with Stein. Ever-present had also bagged four when hammering Grimsby 6-0.
10. Raddy Antic
Midfielder had been in and out of the side during the season, with 13 of his 30 appearances from the bench. Bagged five goals though, including one in the 2-1 win over Chelsea the previous game.
11. David Moss
Converted another penalty against Rangers, his 15th of the season and 11th from the spot that term, as he was the third leading marksman for Town in what was a superb career at Kenilworth Road.
